All of the tubes are inside the frame with good ground clearance and spark plug access. It has 3” of room on each side of a stock oil pan for sump kick outs. It requires a mini starter, a full size GM starter will not fit. We used a TRZ front rack & pinion steering configuration to design around. The steering column continues forward just inside of the frame, then behind the “K” member would be a “U” joint and the column turns through the “K” member to meet the pinion shaft. Ask our sales person for more information. This header will fit side motor mounts or motor plates. It also fits a power brake booster and clutch linkage, but will NOT fit factory air conditioning or column shifter linkage. We offer Power Master #9540 starters. Header Installation: All of our race headers are normally made with individual tubes and slip on collectors for easier installation. Install both sides starting from front to back. Install one tube at a time and just start the header bolts leaving the tubes loose. Once all the tubes are in snug the header bolts but don’t tighten until the collectors are installed then go back and tighten all the header bolts.
